A soft, neutral palette is layered with tactile materials — honed stone, fluted surfaces, and sheer drapery — to bring warmth and texture to the clean architectural lines. The kitchen, anchored by a dramatic stone island and framed by glass pendants, is both a social hub and a functional showpiece. In the living and dining spaces, plush furnishings and artful lighting create an atmosphere of relaxed sophistication, while full-height glazing and translucent curtains manage light and privacy with elegance. The bathrooms carry the same refined language, featuring sculptural stone elements and floor-to-ceiling glazing softened by sheer curtains, inviting in the filtered coastal light.
Architecturally, the home is set over three levels and defined by strong horizontal planes that stretch toward the ocean. Natural timber battens and textured blockwork walls add depth and articulation to the façade, while operable screening elements ensure privacy and sun shading. High-level windows bring in cross-ventilation and light without compromising the sense of retreat from the public street.
The home is carefully integrated into its site through lush subtropical landscaping, which wraps around and weaves through the built form. Planting softens the edges of the architecture and enhances the indoor-outdoor connection, embodying a lifestyle that is both elevated and deeply connected to its coastal environment.
