Located on an excellent site with large street frontages to Hill St and Boundary Lane, this building will help reinforce the ever-evolving Rainbow Bay Precinct. The proposed development takes advantage of this ideal beach-side location for apartment living with abundant views to the Ocean and skyline, and within close proximity to local amenities and services.
Conceptually, the external building form reads as a six storey building from Hill St, with large picture frame windows, maximising the views south. A thin concrete sunhood wraps the building at every level, offering sun protection, shadow and interest to the built form. A large cantilevered roof caps the building, with large overhangs and recessed glass to the top floor.
The seven storey residential building portrays a coastal character that seeks to create an architectural landmark on Hill Street.
