This project presents an exciting opportunity to create a refined residential tower within the emerging waterfront pocket of Sunrise Boulevard, Surfers Paradise. The design delivers a generous and considered built form that responds sensitively to its canal-side setting while enhancing the precinct’s character.

The proposed 17-level residential tower accommodates 30 premium residences, including larger two-, three- and four-bedroom layouts together with five full-floor residences. Deep balconies, shaded greenery and thoughtful orientation maximise natural light and coastal breezes, delivering panoramic canal, Gold Coast skyline and hinterland views from every home. Every apartment is designed for seamless indoor-outdoor living, where the horizon becomes part of daily life.

Resident amenities include a pool, gymnasium, barbecue and fire-pit terraces, hot and cold plunge pools, sauna, and direct pontoon access to the canal. Ground-level activation connects the building to the waterfront, while the sculptural façade with softened curves establishes a graceful, timeless addition to the precinct while maintaining a human-scaled waterfront interface.

Carved with a trace of Italian artistry and the relaxed elegance of la dolce vita, Cavella brings Mediterranean ease to the subtropical Queensland coast. The design draws inspiration from the flowing forms of classical architecture, expressed through fluid lines and a sculptural silhouette that feels both contemporary and enduring. This approach creates a building that sits comfortably within its context, offering residents a sense of calm and connection to the water while contributing positively to the evolving streetscape of Sunrise Boulevard.

The result is a context-responsive residential building that balances luxury living with seamless indoor-outdoor connections and enduring architectural quality – a refined contribution to Surfers Paradise that prioritises substance, longevity and the simple pleasure of coastal living.
