Comprised of 6 high end residential apartments, the built form is expressive and dynamic. Low planters flank the driveway, hiding the screened services whilst elegantly capped columns sweep up to support a generously landscaped podium form. Housed under the podium is a well-defined double height lobby and class-leading communal facilities.
The tower form rises out of the podium. Elegant ribbons of fluted concrete, topped with glass balustrades and cascading landscape wrap the street and river facing facades. Turning the corner these textured ribbons tuck into the vertical blade walls fronting the neighbouring properties.
In its overall shape, massing and composition, the expressive built form of the project has been developed through a considered analysis of the physical form, existing character, climatic conditions and envisaged potential for the site.
In addition to creating considerable amenity for it’s residents and for visitors, the proposed development is intended to provide a readily identifiable and memorable landmark for this area of Surfers Paradise, and a welcome addition to the busy canals of the Nerang River.
