This residential duplex project offered the opportunity to design a coastal architectural character that respects the surrounding residential buildings. The three storey residential building provides a contemporary facade that creates a strong architectural character to O’Connor Street and surrounding streetscape.
This project offers a high quality residential duplex with functional balcony space that act as outdoor rooms to encourage indoor/outdoor interaction, taking advantage of beachfront and parkland views.
A simple material palette and clearly articulated facade create a building that adds to and enriches the existing streetscape.
The building houses two whole floor dwellings over 2 levels with each duplex having a private ground floor recreation area featuring pool, rumpus room, and outdoor dining area.
