This project offers the opportunity to design a contemporary architectural building along the prominent Albatross Avenue frontage at Mermaid Beach.
The exterior building form is highly articulated and is a composition of horizontal and vertical elements. The expression of the building portrays a luxurious and contemporary coastal architecture.

The roof is designed to create the feeling of lightness, creating a defined sharp roofline, framing the building at the top.
Balconies are oversized to create extended living areas with inter-connected indoor/outdoor living rooms. The large operable screens provide sun-shading enhancing the living environment. The operable elements animates the facades and provides flexibility for occupants to adjust their living spaces.
Overall, this building provides a rich layering of materials in a striking and contemporary architectural design that will contribute positively to the Albatross Avenue streetscape precinct.
